Alfred Ogilvie (Leslie Ogilvie in the TV series) is a bookworm who memorizes baseball statistics. He's mostly a benchwarmer who assists the coach with defensive strategy. A backup outfielder/first baseman, but reluctant to play as he feels he's one of the worst players on the team.
In the TV series he is one of the main characters. He is shown to be almost the same as in the movie. In ¨Nakedness is the Next to Godliness ¨ he states that he is insecure about taking a shower with his teammates. He is shown to have a short crush on Dr. Rappant in ¨The Good Life ¨.
He was played in the first and second film by Alfred Lutter III and by Sparky Marcus in the TV series .
